Detection target

Analyzes the intent mix of the top 10 results (informational / commercial / transactional / navigational) and keeps a snapshot timeline; flags significant intent drift with strategy advice.

Enter a keyword and click "Track Search Intent" — results will appear here.

How it works

  1. Enter a keyword to track (any language).
  2. We query the live Google SERP, classify the intent of the top 10 organic results and weigh in SERP features (PAA, AI Overview, shopping).
  3. Each check adds a snapshot to the timeline — when the dominant intent shifts or the mix changes sharply, you get a drift alert with content strategy advice.

FAQ

Why does search intent change over time?
Query intent is not static: as a topic matures, a term that once triggered informational articles can shift toward commercial comparisons or transactional pages. Tracking the trend helps you realign content before rankings drop.
How is the intent classified?
Each of the top 10 organic results is classified with a rule-based model (brand match, transactional keywords, comparison patterns, URL structure), then SERP features (PAA, AI Overview, shopping) add weighted votes. The output is a distribution rather than a single label.
How does drift detection work?
Every check stores a snapshot; duplicates within 2 hours or with an unchanged SERP fingerprint overwrite the last one, so the timeline only records real changes (up to 12 points, kept 90 days). Drift is flagged when the dominant intent changes or the distribution moves 12+ points.
Is the tracker free?
Yes, completely free with no signup. Identical queries are cached for 30 minutes to save data-source quota.
