  2. We extract every JSON-LD block and check JSON syntax, @context, @type, nested nodes (@graph) and required / recommended properties.
  3. Review the 0-100 score and the per-block issue list, then fix the flagged properties in your markup.

FAQ

What does this schema validator check?
It extracts every JSON-LD block from the page and checks: JSON syntax, @context, @type validity, required and recommended properties for 35+ common types, nested entities (e.g. Question inside FAQPage) and URL / date formats. It also detects Microdata markup.
Why does structured data matter for SEO?
Valid structured data makes pages eligible for rich results — star ratings, FAQ dropdowns, breadcrumbs and product snippets — which increase click-through rate. It also helps AI answer engines understand the page entities.
How is the 0-100 score calculated?
The score starts at 100 and subtracts 12 per error (missing required property, invalid JSON…) and 4 per warning (missing recommended property, relative URL, non-ISO date…). A ≥90, B ≥80, C ≥70, D ≥60, F below.
Which types are covered?
35+ high-frequency types including Article / NewsArticle, Product / Offer, FAQPage / Question / Answer, BreadcrumbList, Organization, LocalBusiness, Event, Recipe, HowTo, VideoObject, JobPosting, Course and Review. Uncommon types are flagged as warnings so custom extensions are not treated as errors.
