FAQ
How does the broken link checker work?
It fetches your page, extracts every anchor link (internal and external, up to 60), then checks each target concurrently. Links returning 404/410 or failing to respond are flagged as broken.
What is the difference between broken, blocked and timeout?
Broken means a 4xx/5xx error such as 404. Blocked means the target refused our request (401/403/429) but may work in normal browsers. Timeout means no response within the limit.
Are redirects a problem?
Redirects (301/302) work for users but add latency, and internal links should point directly at the final URL. The report shows each redirect target so you can update the link.
